The Archaeological Park of Morgantina and Villa del Casale manages an archaeological area located on one of the heights forming the basin of Lake Pergusa. This area houses the evidence of a large Hellenized indigenous center which existed from the Copper Age up to the Classical Age. Therein lies the remains of a vast sacred themenos in a breathtaking landscape that overlooks much of the island.
